    I am a bit miffed as I got a quote from an electrician in my area Coffs Harbour who charges $100 an hour the job is putting heat lights in my bathroom plus a power switch the total comes to $ 400 .
    Am I being ripped off?

      The wages chart shows profit. When you’re being charged $100 an hour that includes equipment and travel expenses the electrician needs to pay for.

    Hi, I’m trying finding out some information about the work in Australia. I’m a qualified electrician with NVQ3 qualifications and gold card, I’ve got 10years experience and can cover all aspects of the trade. I’m also experience in other trades but with out qualifications, Ive fitted full kitchen and bathrooms, pretty good at carpentry, tiling. I’ve done work in pretty every trade. Just wondering what sort of possibilities and wage I could potentionally earn with the skills I have.

        Hi Scott, i’m 24 years old, full qualified nvq approved electrician with 2391 inspection and testing. I’m also qualified in fire alarms and security.
        I’m looking at coming out next year to find work, please could you give me some advice it would be much appreciated,
