.. continues. Very grateful for the aircon this summer.
![]() "Last night was Perth's hottest March night in 76 years - with an overnight minimum of 28.1 degrees, 12 degrees above average for this time of year. And there's no respite today, with the West Australian capital already hitting 40 degrees, which is 11 degrees above average." |

The weather around Sydney has been very out of it's usual summer conditions too. Very tropical with lots of storms nearly every week, rain and wind keeping us away from the beaches. Darn.
Hope your aircon doesn't breakdown! |

It's been nice and cool the past couple of days. We actually slept in a blanket for the past two night and have had to wear a jumper in the morning. Ahhhh...it's so nice!

Warm weather records seem to be everywhere just now. Melbourne's temperature has topped 20 degrees for the past 100 days straight, the longest stretch of its type in more than 150 years. Yesterday Melbourne reached 31C.
"The whole of Australia has been exceptionally warm, and the mean temperature across Victoria over the past nine months has been the warmest on record," Dr Jones (Bureau of Meteorology) said. |
