I was invited to attend a free social media workshop by the local Tourism industry, just for being a fan of their website and on the list for email newsletters. It explained the uses of Forums, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, RSS feeds and all of that technical stuff and what uses they have. Well worth the day out. Who says nothing is for free.

A great idea. I'm sure there are many people out there who have not got the confidence to make full use of all the new terchnology and often you feel too silly to ask anyone to help you out.
