Hello,

Can anyone help me out with the price of groceries in Australia such as the cost of a weekly shop? I'll just be on my own but would be interested to know food prices. Thanks

Um, when we shop we spend about $150 - $200 a week for 2 adults and a baby. I'm a real budget shopper and like to know the price of everything but my fiance likes to throw in his crates of coke, chocolate, chips and other unnecessary's. If it's a week we have to buy toiletries add on another $50.

Hi Full Moon,

A full trolley load will cost me at least $175.00, that lasts myself and my son two weeks at least.

2.25L orange juice is around $2.00
Chicken in a biscuit is $2.60
Frozen Veal Cordonbleur $$6.70 (320gram)
Muesli bars 200g $1.65
Corn Chips $2 -$3.
chunky soup $$3.00
Lettuce $2.50
440g Rissoles $4.00
Medium beef lasagne $10.50

Everything has gone up recently. The beef lasagne used to be large for $10.00. Such is life.
