I'm in a bit of a panic, I need to buy a pressie for my sister in Melbourne but I can't find the Australian Amazon website. Can anyone help me out with this?

There is no Amazon Australia - don't know why- you will need to use amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

There is no amazon Australia. You could try oo.com.au (only online) if you are trying to avoid high postage costs from outside Aus. What is it you want to buy?

I'm surprised Amazon hasn't set up somewhere like Sydney or Melbourne. There are port facilities and they could build huge warehouses to cover the country. Even if they don't want to cover the whole country at first, they could start with the main population centres.

FWIW Amazon has websites for Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, a Spanish language version of Amazon.com, the UK and the USA.
