Hi,

Does anyone know if my region 2 DVD's will play in Australia? I have a lovely collection of DVD's which I don’t want to lose and I know that Australia is region 4. Will I have to bring my UK DVD player to AUS to watch them?

Hope you can help.

Yes, it's no problem getting multi-region DVD players here. We have one. As far as I can recall, the shop we bought it from supplied us with a DVD that, when it played, automatically programmed the player to be multi-region. So now we can buy DVDs from anywhere in the world and play them.

Yes, it's easy to get multi region DVD in Australia so they should play fine if you buy one of those. Just check with the shop before you purchase that the DVD player will play all regions (most do).

I think that most computers will play DVDs from anywhere in the world too, so you could watch them on your computer or hook it up to your TV.
