We pay about 11.5p per day plus 11.5p per kWh.

Hi,

I'm with Origin (http://www.originenergy.com.au/2087/Electricity-tariffs-QLD%5B) and the charges are $7.259 a month and 18.843 cents per kWh.

I'm with Simply energy. Electricity starts at 19.732 per kWh peak and at 9.251 cents per kWh off peak. There is also a daily charge of 45 cents.

I've just been wingeing about the bill I received today, so thought I'd repost this link as it might be helpful to others as well as me. Is anyone else finding the electricity bills are too frequent and too expensive? I feel like I've just finished paying for the last one. Oh well, maybe the next one wont be so painful.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Prices are going up all the time. In SA prices are going up 7% from July with four more increases due next year. I guess it will be Earth Hour every night in our house soon.
